Phil_S
you require both a facelift bumper and a facelift bonnet, and while the foglight grilles look the same they differ in size so you need them also i scooped my bumper with the grille of ebay for 100 and bought the bonnet primed from audi for 160 all the fixtures etc are the same so there are no problems there, anything else you need to know

dw1lkes
hi phill iv got a facelift model a3 53 reg like iv said already(repeating myself i know) mate but does it have to be off a 55 plate onwards model is it the same as my car. The thing is the bit in between the two grills(were the reg is) looks welded to the bumper. il add some pics soon so you can see. cheers for your time appreciated

Hellz
Hi dw1lkes, yes you'll need the bonnet, bumper, grille from an A3 55-08 plate (facelift model). You may also need to acquire fog lights and/or fog cover inserts if they do not come with the bumper. You should be able to grab the grille and bumper from ebay quite easily and cheaply. The bonnets are a little harder to get hold of so you may need to contact AUDI... I've been looking to do a similar conversion myself - I contacted Newcastle AUDI and was quoted £180 EX. VAT for a new facelift bonnet (Part No. 8P4823029B). Good luck
Hellz
I should also mention that you'll need to get the bonnet painted and fitted. if you order from AUDI they can paint it for you (expensive) but they wont fit it for you. Same goes for the other parts, unless you're extremely lucky and manage to find parts with the exact shade of paint to match your car you're gonna need a paint job plus fitting. Phil_S
right ive been asked this loads for those looking for a quick grille conversion that doesnt look as good you can buy a part for the conversion made by tuning company abt, however these arent made before and are scarce, you cannot just fit a new bumper as the grills on a facelift a3 are 2 inches shorter therefore leaves a gap either side, the facelift bonnet will cover this though, you dont need any fixtures for the bonnet as you can remove them from your old bonnet. all in all depending on paint / parts deals youre talking 500 pounds or more for the conversion, imo its well worth it, failing that go for the abt grille youll be able to get one off someone eventually
