eatmysmoke
Hi, I'm wanting my fog lights to come on when I unlock my 2002 A4. Is there anybody who lives in near the belfast area who has VAG who could do this for me, I do not not mind travelling a few miles. Many Thanks Ric
shark_90
You can only activate this is you have factory fitted Xenons. Mad Mike (MGquattro) is over in Belfast and might be able to help you

MGquattro
Greetings Oh Smokey One. Yep I'm up near Forrestside with a simple vag-com., Will need to check what coding is required, I have a funny feeling that it might depend on wheather you car is a Highline model on not. Hopefully Shark 90 will shed some light on this. Will Pm you a mobily no. Mike
Cupramax
You can only activate this is you have factory fitted Xenons. Nope, you need the follow me home option which comes with the autolights pack. Basically you have another small switch on the headlight switch which gives you the option to turn this on and off. Mine has this but I have no Xenons...
shark_90
Yes but if you have Xenons and no auto lights, you can turn it on with VCDS without having the switch on the dashboard

MGquattro
OK, so are we looking at fitting Home coming lights ? or am I barking up thr wrong tree....... My earlier research told me that it depended on which control module you have fitted in your car. scan module 9 (Central Electrics). The part Number should be 8E0 907 279 Letter If you have one of this: 8E0 907 279 A, 8E0 907 279 C or 8E0 907 279 D, you have the low line module. If you have one of this: 8E0 907 279 B, 8E0 907 279 E or 8E0 907 279 F, you have the High line module. However, my searches have tell me that to have all the features, you need the F one. Unfotunately my car is the lowline model and I haven't been able to activate this function. If anyone knows better which is definately more than possible, please let me know, What coding were you suggesting Ben ? Maaaaad Mike
