shab_k
my q7 was stolen some 2 weeks ago and now im looking for a a8 3.0 tdi but not wanting to splash big money due to a new business venture and still not been paid out on the q7. has anyone done a facelift conversion inc led rear lights. how hard isit to do and what sort of costs. will a 100k car be asking for trouble. have seen a few at 110k for around 10k£
craigyb
To facelift front and rear you can expect to pay around 3K or more as you will need a bonnet and lights on top of the bumpers/grills etc. So maybe you should figure that into your purchase and go for a better car, maybe already facelifted. nebw
... and it's money you won't get back. If anything it will reduce resale value, because the car is then modified which has to be declared to insurers, which is hassle and probably more expensive.... I'd be tempted to do a short term contract hire of something sensible until you get paid out on the Q7 or the business takes off, then buy an A8 that's already as you want it, and doesn't swallow up valuable business hours ?
