Audi RNS-E Retrofit to A6 (C5)

I have spent ages reading posts on what's required and the more I read the confused I get.

I have an RNS-E unit, question is exactly what else do I need for this to function (car is a 2000, currently with Bose Symphony)

I would like to add a DVD Player (Veba AV2705) and DVB-T Tuner - what options do I have here. Don't want an unbranded ebay jobbee. Seen the Ampire ones but they don't seem readily available in the UK and the Kenwood KTC-D500E has been highly recommended.

I am struggling to understand what interface I will need to get the above working (are there any reasonable priced options that will allow the DVD player and Tuner to interface with the RNS-E?).

I also believe that I may need a CAN BUS adapter.

Any help that clarifies my shopping list is greatly appreciated.
