Tarmac_Terrorist
Thinking of a new glaze but unsure what to go for. Mostly it will be used on red or dark colours. It would be handy if it could be applied by either hand or machine. I already have Clearkote Red Moose Glaze but would either of the following two offer a nicer / wetter / warmer finish or should I just stick with the CK RMG? Megs No7 Clearkote Yellow Moose Are there any waxes which struggle to bond to either of these (mainly use Dodo Supernatural or Colli 476s / 845? steelwind101
Hi TT Waxes do not bond to anything so no problem using glazes over them! IW845 is an intreasting product, it used to contain a heavy solvent but its different now. Personally i would say nothing underneath it as people have issues with it. #7 is old school and while it has its charms there are products which will bring equal charm! ITs best applied using a machine polisher and polishing pad. If you apply by hand you have to wait for it to "skin" then break the skin until its a very much a thin layer of oil on the paintwork. Yellow Moose IMO is a sure fire winner! CG EZ Glaze is another good product, much over hyped and you can put sealants on top of it. While hyped up its a pretty decent product! The beauty of RMG is that you can use it as paintwork cleaner on a polishing pad. It contains a micro, super fine abrasive too which wont correct anything.
