Its suppose to be really good at jewelling, who knows what will happen with the Megs polisher, probably require some time to see. Its suppose to flex with the cars bodywork. The menz 203s seems to attract mixed opinions - some believeing a lighter finishing polish leaves a better finish. I like the idea of a polish that wll remove defects and finish down well too though! steelwind101 Posted January 28, 2010 Author Report Share Posted January 28, 2010 Hi TT I think the 203s is a bit more powerful PO106FA and i think is more of an all around polish. It will finish out from a decent pad and correct further but you can go on to improve things with Final Finish to really improve things. My cars do not really have to much problem as i keep them well and paint is pretty soft so im hoping i can acutally use the 203s! The previous owner of the Lancer tied something to the roof and it left some scratches so i think i will have a go up there first. I never bothered to correct it that much as the roof is quite hard to see all over and all the swirls just polished out with normal routines! You can certantly jewel the finish a DA, i will see how the pad works. Yeah its a 6" like the megs pads, although olding it it seems a bit bigger. Its also curved. The smaller wheel brush seems a bit sturdier then my larger EZ detail. The old one has no handle left and the plastic cap also came off so the end has exposed metal! I applied it to my company car which had 3 coats of Collinite in Nov ish and is still holding up well. The CM has definitely brought back a 'just waxed' look - more so than a normal QD does. I washed it this lunchtime and the CM was clearly still there and looking good. Expensive but a nice product and one which I will continue to use ongoing I think. wyliss Posted February 6, 2010 Report Share Posted February 6, 2010 I actually got a wash in today, weather was sunny but cold. Usual routine, Duragloss TBM and then topped off with one of your recommendations, Optimum Spray Wax, a nice product. I then topped this off with some Serious Performance Show Detailer, now that is good. Good question re pads and polish, unsure where to start. I'm looking at Menzerna mainly because my car is German etc. The pads is puzzling really, dont know what to get to be honest. My car's paint is well cared for but I'm sure a session with the DA will give it something more it deserves. The condition of the paint is hard to tell because of the colour but I'd consider it slightly marred/swirled but not really evident if you see what I mean. Good to hear from Geoff, hope you are ok. I have not used them, but i do like the white and orange pads from Lake Country. Likewise there are some smaller ones in my photo that are great for getting in those tight areas!
