stevereeno Posted February 22, 2010 Report Share Posted February 22, 2010 Hi guys i have just heard a clunk when operating the drivers door window followed by a horrible mincing sound.On inspection i see the cable is snapped which runs around in a figure of 8 shape.Do i have to buy the complete replacement unit or can it be rewired ? Also when i start the car it shows a little blue smoke and smells quite rich is this ok ? It only has 64k and is well serviced but is the 1999 model 2.5. Sorry to go on but i had the engine light come on the a few weeks then dissapear after a misfire during wet weather, should i get it seen to or is this common? Rachel Posted July 9, 2013 Report Share Posted July 9, 2013 Take it and your wallet to a Porsche specialist, with your list of questions and issues and ask them to give it a complete going over and give you a report.
