Tarmac_Terrorist
I hoover the dash thoroughty with these bad boys: Mini Car Detaiing Vacuum Attachments @ Performance Motorcare Products Ltd They get into every nook & cranny. I then either just wipe over with a damp cloth or sometimes just apply a quick detail spray - megs or FinishKare 425 as these leave a nice mat finish and seem to be a little antistatic. steelwind101
That looks like a good bit of kit! I just have some brushes, i have collected over the years. Black Magic, Mothers, Zymol etc. I tend to apply Wolfgang Vinyl and Rubber protectant, sprayed on to an mf then rubbed over the surface gives a rich matt look. Typically i use an interior detailer like Megs Interior QD every now and then to wipe away dirt and finger printers and put back some protection. 1Z Cockpit is also another one of my favorites, decent cleaning power and a matt layer of protection. Megs Interior QD and 1Z Cockpit are good sprayed on to an MF and then rubbed over over sat nav screens etc. They leave no mess or films and clean very well! When i big clean i tend to clean the plastics etc. with APC before the Wolfgang. Wolfgang leather cleaner on the steering wheel etc. Geoff

Tarmac_Terrorist
I think that many of the more commonly available brands are fine too. There is just so much choice that I can't resist trying different brands. I remember applying the shiny armorall to all plastics on my XR2 - inside and out! It can't be bad stuff - it's been around for about 20 years! The only thing I recall about armorall was that it was a pain to remove off glass and paintwork. The formula has probably evolved / improved over the years.
Performance Motorcare
Have always found Meguiars #40 Vinyl & Rubber Cleaner to work extremely well and depending on how long you leave it on will allow you to determine the finish - give it a quick wipe off and you get a more glossy finish - if you're looking for a more of a matt finish - leave it to pentrate more before wiping off. If you have "rough" plastics/vinyl where the dirt and dust can get into the dimples i find that the foaming products work well such as Autoglym Hi-Foam Interior Shampoo as the foam gets underneath the dirt and lifts it out, allowing it to be easily wiped off the surface Tarmac_Terrorist - pleased to hear you're liking the vac attachments. Hope this helps. Rob
