mpgrant5 Posted May 1, 2010 Report Share Posted May 1, 2010 I have alot of paint damage on my new bmw 500 miles on the clock. It was parked at the airport at gatwick over the flight ban period. I have come back and all of the roof and bonnet and tailgate have like spots of etching all over it or does it have a paint defect anybody else seen this on a car . If you take it to the dealers they may, i suspect for some price polish the car for you. Most people operating buffers at car dealerships and bodyshops are not very good at what they do. You will likely end up exchanging your ash damage for buffer trails and holograms. Finding a detailer to take care of them if you cant do it yourself is probably going to give you a better result.
