funguf
Hi Guys, I replaced an EGR that was blowing like a tractor a week or so ago and cleared the DTCs. But I got a new set of problems a few days later when putting some load on the engine: - 2 Faults Found 17811 - EGR System: Regulation Deviation P1403 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent 16685 - Cylinder 1: Misfire Detected P0301 - 35-00 - - Readiness: 0000 0001 Looking at the definitions, it looks like the EGR developed a fault. But I can't figure out why cylinder 1 has started to misfire at the same time as the EGR going. Symptons include power loss and juddering at low rev's due to misfires im guessin. Any insights into this would be greatly appreciated.
cruiser647
Might be best to check your work to make sure that all the cables you moved/disconnected are still connected. Not sure why it would affect cylinder 1 though, unless you disturbed/broke the spark lead for it? (forgotten what they are called!!!!) They can be very sensitive
