Andrew
Right, so BMW/Mini can fit a hardwire iPod cable for the reasonable sum of £160. Well, I thought it reasonable until they then said it woudl take an hour of labour too which would be £150. £150 an hour? For a bloody Mini? Rang the chaps up the road and £135 all in for a Connects2. The Mini is a 56 older gen - any comments on how usable the C2 system is? Andrew. Andy_Bangle
Are you or the missus planing on getting an iPhone as there are number of different kits available? For example, the Dension Gateway 100 & 300 both work with iphone & will give text on the factory stereo with browsing from the mfsw & charge it, but they wont do phone calls. The Gateway 100 is only 100 quid.
Andy_Bangle
Just been reading about the C2 kit: CTABMIPOD009, it's 50 Quid and seems simple enough to fit yourself. It just plugs into the back of the head unit.
