MattS3
I recently changed my old camera detector for a newer model. The old one was stuck to the dash with a number plate sticker, and looked very neat. However, when I applied that sticker, I had a little wipe in packet, which removed any contamination etc to ensure a good solid fix. (and it was great, stuck solid for 3 years) I'm now struggling to get the new bracket to stick with the same level of rigidity, so I really need something to wipe the dash in that spot, to get the best level of adhesion possible. What do you guys recommend I use? Maybe some nail varnish remover or similar? Thanks Matt
Tipex
We use white spirit to clean our dash boards before sticking the taxi equipment down with self adhesive velcro, works a treat.

MattS3
Many thanks Tippex, the white spirit worked a treat. Coupled with a numberplate sticker for the sticky part, it's now stuck like the preverbial brown stuff to the blanket. Cheers
