eatmysmoke
Hi I have a 2005 2.0 tdi b7 s sline. It has 18 inch alloys on it. The wheels do still look quite small and the gap to the arches is not close enough. I am considering lowering my car. Being an s line and lowered already can I lower it more with the original shocks. If so, by how much. I have seen springs for sale that lower by 30mm but this does not take in account that its an sline and lowered already meaning they will not drop it by 30mm. Can any one point me out some decent springs that will drop an s line maybe another 20 - 30 mm, or any advice from someone who has lowered an s line. Many thanks

eatmysmoke
I had 19's on my b6 sport, they looked good, ride was ok, it wasn't lowered though. I have nice 18's on the s line with good tyres, think I'll stick with these until it's lowered, see what it's like.
herbie75
Bit bereft of advice this thread. Have you had a look at this? Best lowering springs for avant s line? Looks like H&R 45's are the way to go for the s-line...
