Corrado Storm
Hi, I've just bought a 2005 Audi A3 TDi. The Hazard Warning Light Switch (red triangle) remains illuminated constantly, even when the car is locked, rather than switching off after a short time-delay as it is supposed to. If the car is not used for a couple of days, this runs the battery flat. Any suggestions on what might be causing this? All other electrical functions and everything else about the car seem 100% fine. Thanks:confused:
Corrado Storm
I've now disconnected the Hazard switch, when sitting inside the car having locked it, the electrics sound 'live' (buzzing behind dash), so I don't think the car is going into 'sleep mode' properly. Any thoughts on what could be holding it on?
Corrado Storm
Disconnecting the 'Welcome Home' light switch sorted it, so clearly that switch was at fault. It's the one below the main light switch which holds the side-lights on for 40 seconds after you lock the car.
