micalee
Is it me, or is it only the passenger seat which easily tilts then slides back to the original position? only, the drivers side does not slide back - I have to use the lever under the seat
burble
Are you sliding the seat back whist the seat back is still leaning towards the front of the car?
micalee
Hi Burble - I lean the seat forward by lifting the handle at the top of the seat, but it will not slide forward from that point onwards, so I have to use the lever under the seat - likewise, it will not slide back. The passenger seat does slide forward as soon as the seat leans forward - couldnt do it in my last R either!
burble
Hmm, my drivers seat works fine. Make sure you give the seat back a good shove forward with the handle still up and see if it'll slide then. I know with mine if the seat back isn't forward enough then it won't slide. Cuprabob
On my Recaros neither the driver's or the passenger seat tilts and slides in one operation. To let anyone in and out it's a major exercise as you need to operate both levers seperately. Luckily I don't use the back seats that often :-)

micalee
Are you able to post a pic of what I should be looking for?
micalee
Taken a look under the seat and can see the cable which pulls the mechanism which allows the seat to slide. The passenger seat works fine and it is loose on the drivers side, but cannot for the life see where it secures or how I can fix it
