boi-1da
Hi everyone, I'm very stressed at the fact that my Audi a3 has been jumping and kicking for the last couple of months. I have had the engine coils replaced, spark plugs replaced, cam-belt replaced and a full kwik fit service. Despite this I have not been able to rectify the fault. In detail the car basically jumps as if hit in the rear, mainly when taking off from stationary or when accelerating to high speeds also when sharply breaking. I have just had a diagnostic taken at a local audi specialist resulting in a P0091 code for the fuel pressure regulator 1 control circuit d-N290:LOW. The fault was cleared on the diagnostic but I was told if it reoccurs the part needs changing(it has reoccurred!!!!) I have been quoted £400 for parts and labour or £80 for just labour....Does this sound right to anyone? if it is the fault am I being overcharged and what part would be needed for this fault exactly maybe I can find it cheaper? I was looking at the n290 part of the fault code and it says its a quantity control metering valve....does that sound familiar? p.s how much is the software update?
