Coding to enable TV tuner in MMI

Hello, I finally found the location of the module that switches between the rear-view camera and TV Tuner FBAS feed in the boot and was able to install a TV tuner into my US spec W12 (for the purpose of using the AV sources to feed rear seat entertainment DVD video and sound to the MMI up front).

Does anyone experienced with UK TV tuner retrofits know if any coding needs to be done to any modules besides enabling "TV Tuner" in "installed modules" menu of CAN Gateway.

I have completed the above using Ross-Tech Vag-com/VCDS but I still do not get the two External AV sources in my Media (CD/Aux in US) menu "Source" submenu.

I would really appreciate any assistance as this feature is not available in the US and our dealers are completely clueless.

The module pictured below is where I connected the FAKRA/FBAS cable of the TV tuner.

I will be splitting the RCA output of the OEM DVD changer so it feeds both the Audi rear seat entertainment screens in the front headrests and also the MMI screen up front.

Currently I have CD and AMI in the Sources menu but the two External AV sources do not appear (which is what is important to me)

You only have CD and AMI, if TV does not appear you will never get the external AV sources. If your TV is installed correctly and you have enabled it in the can gateway (which is not neccessary as it would work anyway) then either it is broken or not supported in the US spec MMI.
