Richard039
Hi Everyone I'm pulling what little hair I have left out. I own a 2004 Audi S4 (which I love) it has a retro fitted RNS-E (2004) system fitted (8E0 035 192 C), which works as it should. When I bought the car the previous owner turned up at my house with the stereo playing, using SD cards. I decided to play my music the same way so I did a bit of research and set about putting some tracks on an SD card but All I get, when I insert the card is Data corrupted! Firstly I got a 4gb SD card (not sdhc), then I went onto I Tunes and converted all my music to MP3 format and put everything onto the card (about 156 tracks). Tried it in the car and got Data Corrupted on the display (when I inserted the card into the computer all the tracks played). Then I formatted the card to Fat 32 and put the music back onto it and tried again, Data Corrupted :ffs: Then I used an MP3 tag editor to reduce the tag from 3 down to one, reformatted the card, put the music back on again and tried it in the car, Data Corrupted!:ffs: I then gave the card to a mate, who seems to know a bit more about this sort of thing than me. my music plays on his computer but he had a play around with it and put some of his mmusic on it. Tried it in the car, Data Corrupted!:ffs::ffs::ffs:. the music he put on the card plays on my computer. Anyone got any ideas??? is there a firmware update for the RNS-E?? thanks for reading Richard
