Hi Guys just raising the issue here to see if anyone else has had similar problems on their B8 not 4 as in the title . My car developed a judder on take off which deteriorated with time, to such an extent a new fly wheel was fitted under warranty this year in march @23000 miles. Things went ok for a while until recently when i noticed the same thing occuring albeit to a lesser extent , anyway the car was fitted with anew flywheel clutch and release bearing this week still within warranty, 9000 miles since the last one . Anyone had the same problem ?

Are you driving it like a diesel or like a petrol on take off? AKA do you rev it and feed the clutch , or do you keep the revs quite low and feed the clutch allowing the diesel flywheel weight and torque to do the rest? If the latter - and it is very common with diesels as they almost beg you to do it- then it is a certain dual mass flywheel killer.

Could, just could.. be the way you are driving it.

Dual Mass Flywheels are the sperm of the devil mind you and should have been refused a patent and so killed off at birth.
