HelpMe2012
Hi, went to an excellent garage in rowley regis in birmingham who specialise in audi, vw, i had a fault on my car dash board " yellow key with red cross on it " please beware this is a common fault on the new ignetion keys (slide in ones). You MUST change the whole ignetion slot with cost around £169.99+ VAT. This garage was a life saver did my dianogitcs and fitted in the part for only £202.00, and was solved in 30mins....Excellent 1st class service, were as Audi dealers... as i've got mouthful to say to them.... ****** no help what so ever, just after your MONEY! GREEDY *****, One hell of piece of mind now! once the light comes on go and get it fixed, could lock car and problem starting up again! Make sure when the key is slotted in, dont pull it hard, turn off the car properly them insert it out. Hope this has helped anyone out their. Place i went to was called (Auto technquies) person who dealt with me was Dave! super person, excellent service!:D
Nelson_R32
If you had a full Audi service history and the car was under four years old then they probably would've paid a contribution towards the cost of replacement or replaced it FOC. £180 seems expensive anyway. The part is only about £60 on its own Edited January 4, 2012 by Nelson_R32
eldavo69
Don't worry about it Nelson, I'd hazard a guess that "Dave" wrote the post.

evergleam
hi Im a new member who has just purchased an AUDI A6 2010 SE TDI 2.0 and im looking for the best place to source mudflaps and rear boot liner? I am going to try TPS in milton keynes on monday I found an old thread from Nelson_R32 talking about Audi A6 Avant C6 (05-) Flexible Loadliner (4F9061160) new for just £20 !! can these still be found at this price? Its hard to find any information or pictures that describe how well the audi branded liners fit and perform. certainly the audi hard plastic tray (4F9061170 £189) does not seem to sit level with the lip of the boot door.... so seems a bit naff to me.... http://www.audi.co.uk/audi/owners-area/audi-accessories.html?appLink=%2Faccessories-searcher%2Fdetails.do%3FaccessoryId%3D496 I was thinking the flexible audi boot liner might stop items sliding around in the back but read on a forum that the flexible liner is only foam and tears easily (4F9061160 £44) http://www.audi.co.uk/audi/owners-area/audi-accessories.html?appLink=%2Faccessories-searcher%2Fdetails.do%3FaccessoryId%3D232 so was thinking the semi rigid boot liner might be best bet? dont know if anyone has used any of these? (4F9061180 £72) http://www.audi.co.uk/audi/owners-area/audi-accessories.html?appLink=%2Faccessories-searcher%2Fdetails.do%3FaccessoryId%3D218 was also wondering if the mudflaps are simple to install yourself? and worth having? Front (4F0075111B £40.27) http://www.audi.co.uk/audi/owners-area/audi-accessories.html?appLink=%2Faccessories-searcher%2Fdetails.do%3FaccessoryId%3D392 Rear (4F0075101 £40.27) http://www.audi.co.uk/audi/owners-area/audi-accessories.html?appLink=%2Faccessories-searcher%2Fdetails.do%3FaccessoryId%3D444 Edited June 8, 2013 by evergleam
