1999 Audi S8 Sat Nav problem

Hi Guys,

Im new to the site, ive just bought a 1999 Audi S8 i love the car it just has a few little niggly bits i need to sort out 1 of them being the sat nav.

When i go to enter a destination the whole unit will freeze then goes off, if i select continue guidence to current destination it will work????

Any ideas why i cant enter a new destination?
