GrahamF
After seeing quite a few photo's of the MMI control panel on A6's it got me thinking as to what the difference is between some pics show a 'CD/TV' button and a few show a 'Media' button. I'm just curious as to know why, is it because all the A6's which had TV installed had the 'CD/TV' button or something completely different - mine just says 'Media'. craigyb
As more and more devices were added under the CD/TV button Audi just decided to rename it MEDIA to cover things like MP3 CD/CD/TV/AMISD cards/Jukebox etc.

Andy_Bangle
My 2007 C6 allroad originally had the CD/TV button, but when I had the controls replaced under warranty I got a "Media" button instead.

I would think that reading between the lines of what Craig has just said then it sounds as though the 'Media' button is the later version of the 'CD/TV' button so when you had yours replaced then I would guess that they put the later version in for you - I'm kinda guessing though!
