A6 2lt Tdi Turbo trouble

Had problems posting this item and it's my third attempt! I have an A6 Avant 2lt Tdi 2005 (C6) which I bought two months ago and have 1 month warranty remaining. Accelerating around 1800/2300rpm I'm getting a stuttering effect, especially when engine under stress in uphill. A distinct 'broken whooshing' sound from engine on o/side area. Had it looked at by a private Audi technician who ran it through his diagnostic kit and showed no obvious fault. The problem is intermittent but he did experience it on a test drive and thought it might be a problem with the turbo 'waste gate'! There is also a turbo whine at start up. Can any pundits out there throw any light/ideas on this. I only want to take it back to the dealer when I can give a definitive (ish) fault claim. Thanks.

You could have a look at all the turbo pipes and the at the inlet manifold for any duff hoses. Sometimes, although the hoses LOOK OK, they might be perished and either expand (blowing out the seals) or flatten (restericting the air flow). Squeeze them all and see.

Check the vacuum pipes too - make sure they are OK.

I'm really desperate so if any further ideas on a solution or route to take I would be most grateful. The 'stuttering' at around 1800/2200rpm is now a permanent feature. I've had it in a VW/Audi independent specialist and they have been super helpful and have replaced the Mass Airflow Sensor but, sadly to no effect. Pipes and manifold checked and no fault. Heeeeeeeeeeeeeelp!
