NewNiceMrMe
If anyone has stayed at the Waldorf Astoria in Orlando, I'd welcome any views you have on it. Thanks.
Andy_Bangle
Not stayed there personally, but I often use the same chain - things to lookout are $26 per day parking, $15 per day for decent wifi (free lofi available if HH member) and the $30.00 resort charge per night, plus tax Apart from that it looks very nice /rant/ I hate bloody resort fees, hotels only apply them as they don't tax on that portion of revenue. Was paying $60 per night parking at my last hotel stay so $26 seems a bargain. /rant off/ Anyhow, if it's for yourself/family I can supply a corporate link, which may or may get get you a better rate Edited September 4, 2015 by Andy_Bangle
NewNiceMrMe
Anyhow, if it's for yourself/family I can supply a corporate link, which may or may get get you a better rate It is and that would be much appreciated. The in-resort fees are interesting as I wasn't aware of those. We'd be hiring a car for 2 weeks so the parking charges are ones I'm pleased to be aware of in advance! The WiFi will be essential as I'll need to work from there too for about an hour a day, so I may look for what is available in respect of roaming data etc or one of those WiFi hotspot things. NewNiceMrMe
Cheers, Azure. I think it is safe to say we have now seen nothing but plaudits for it. However, we're now struggling to get the flights to fit in with when we want go. It looks like we're going to have to take our youngest out of school for a week which we really don't like doing. Everything else is perfect, but the flights are a nightmare unless we want to do a connection on the return and we're struggling to get the types of seat we want to. We've put the flight search in the hand of an agent now because it is doing our heads in. If they can't find the days and seats we want, we'll be going elsewhere.
