See how fast he is and if it was a move for money or genuine talent, Kubica would have been a fans choice but not sure he would really have what it takes after so long out and with his various unfortunate issues.

The Frank Williams Story is an excellent film/documentary in which Claire Williams is exceptional.  It explains why they've made the decision they have too.  On their budget, that incoming sponsorship makes a huge difference.

Sirotkin is a very decent racing driver.  He has won in every single seater catagory he has competed in and his last full time GP2 season (2016) saw him finish 3rd behind the two dominant Prema cars.  He did a one off appearance at the Monaco  F2 race and scored two good points finishes this year.  Not an easy thing to do.   

 

I think he will suprise afew people this year.  His pace in the Abu Dhabi test was as much a factor in his selection, as the big sack of Rubles.
