spiderman
Help! Just bought a V6 4motion and I want it to go faster, I know about miltek exhaust and filter, but what else can be done, whats the best chip, AmD anyone else? And does anyone know where you can get a supercharger upgrade etc for under £5k? Theres gotta be a cheaper option, let me know who and where to go, Thanks
R32North
Welcome to TSN! Lots of potential option sopen to you but Chips and MIltek seem to be the way for R32 owners so shouldn't be a problem for the V6 4Mo. Don't know much about superchargers but VF Engineering do one so this may give you a starting point! http://www.vf-engineering.com
s4_sat
try nik saran racing, they do a supercharger kit for the mk3 vr6 so might do one for the mk4 v6.
Mikedavbora
Try the tuner guide section of my website as a starting point - some names there to work with. Click on Modifying and then Engines www.borabase.hostrocket.com But basially, two routes really: 1) Chip / remap. 204BHP and 199lbs/ft to 220/230BHP and 220-230lbs/ft. Miltek, maybe even new cams for little extra 2) SCs or turbos. SCs more reliable, see about 280BHP for £3k. HPA Turbos offer mental power (440BHP and 0-60 in 4.9 anyone?) but are seriously pricey (5 figures). Problem with the 2.8 is its not downtuned like the 3.2 so its hard to get the numbers up cheapily...but the chip will improve drivability no end. Know the shove you get in 2nd? It does that, but in every gear and brings it close to a stock R32. Its on my shopping list
spiderman
Thanks for all the advice, NS Racing seem to be the cheapest, a lot less than AMD, still going to check out some more info but supercharging seems to be the way to go. Happy Golfing!

VF Engineering make one though so as a distributor maybe than can get one
