Paul
How do you get rid of Windowes Messenger (completely) so you can run MSN messenger unhindered? The two seem to clash, one signing in, other signing out, and there does not appear to be a delete option in add remove windows features. Im running XP PRO and XP Home on anther PC. cheers. JaffaCake
Quite simple really. Find the executable for Windows messenger, I think msmsgs.exe, and rename it to something like msmsgs.old. You'll need to ensure it's not running first (end process in task manager).
