Looking for a Z8

Hi Mate,

Welcome to TSN!

The last time I scoured Top Marques et al for a Z8 (my co-director was toying with the idea of getting one), they were all in and around the £50K mark....I'd have thought that at this time of year, you could probably get yourself a decent deal on one.....

Good luck and let us know if you get one!

I think Z8's should be worth less than the £50k...they don't sell well even if they are a cracking car... I heard of German dealers buying them up cheap over hear and taking them back to Germany..They were buying them for about £45 k and that was a few years ago... Don't pay a more than £50k for one..They are a nightmare to sell

grin.gif I agree £50k seems a lot for a 2 seater M5, I still have trouble understanding anyone who purchased one new - I don't deny its a good looking, fast car complete with James Bond association but £85k (IIRC) for a BMW EEK2.GIF

NOW NOW JHT! Just happened to pop in here and you're having a pop at me!

Personally, I'd prefer a Z8. Just because of what it looks like and sounds like - nothing more.

Was wondering how long it'd take you..... wink.gif

I'd take a Z8 too, but for that level of money you could get a Noble..... tongue.gif

True but I'd still take the Z8.

Forget out and out performance and enjoy the looks, the jaw dropping noise and the classic switchgear.

Absolutely agree - the M3 CSl is also a great car, but I have one already. jump.gif

If you have the CSL already then i'm sure a Z8 would be a good edition to the Collection... It is by far the best screwed together of all the BMW's the interior is odd but different which is a bonus these days...I hope you find a goodie 169144-ok.gif

Welcome to TSn PPP beerchug.gif

Do love the Z8's - I also hear that they can cost an absolute fortune and an age to repair crazy.gif

It will be a summer car, and put on little mileage so should be OK. Although would love to drive it at the 'Ring in Summer 2005. Thanks for all the comments - much appreciated.
