njbennett122
I would mate, but it might look a bit odd, not having the complete piano finish in the rest of the car... Why you selling it? Got anything else on offer?? Neal.

ChrisT
Just been looking at your pics, and was wondering what kit you used for the blanking plates either side of the stereo as yours looks so much better than mine Cheers, Chris.
njbennett122
The car is an 02 model so uses the newer concert and concert 2 headunits. The plates are standard from Audi. they come in the same, matt grey finish that the rest of the dash uses, so looks like its part of it... Not sure which model of A3 you have but I think the pre facelift models are different. Cheers Neal.
r3hep
got the PM... and the pre facelift model can have the blanking plates too.... and they also look factory... had them in R3 HEP cos i wanted a CD head unit!
njbennett122
Ahhhh, Colin to the rescue.. I just looked at your pics chris, and it does look very similar if not the same..... So looks like Colin is right... Neal.
r3hep
had a look too and they actually look like the standard Audi plates for that year... just not fitted right... are you sure they are not upside down? mine were more flush than that... and didn't stand out as much against the piano trim! A3Floyd
Lovely car, Neal. Those wheels look great. are they the replica's? did you need to lower the car at all? I've been tinkering with the idea of fitting a set to mine.

njbennett122
Cheers Floyd.. Yes they are RSTT replica's supplied by AmD. The car is still on standard sport suspension, but plan to purchanse some springs to lower and more importantly stiffen when I decide which ones to go for... I had tiddly 15" alloys on before and they really have transformed the car into someting new... Neal.
