bazza_g
That sounds pretty high to me - have you tried Admiral ? I've got my VXT (with mods) and the gf's Cooper S insured with them - no other company came close to the Admiral quotes

activa
Best bet is to use "www.confused.com" which will find the best quote for you.I guarantee they get you a cheaper quote.
scooby_simon
Is there an owners club or some such ? I've saved £150 on my Subaru insurance by using Subaru-insured.co.uk Might be worth a look.
Rustynuts
[ QUOTE ] Best bet is to use "www.confused.com" which will find the best quote for you.I guarantee they get you a cheaper quote. [/ QUOTE ] Caution here with confused.com. I just tried them, and their system decided, on input of my car registration, to downgrade the spec of my car from a Sport to a ST. Makes the quote cheaper but in need of a claim, your car isn't insured! So I went back in and input the exact details of my car, and the quote comes out for a Highline!!!!! Something stinks. Take my advice, send "insurance jon" a pm and see what he can do. It can't hurt, and he knows what he's talking about.
activa
It's quite possible they may have a few database problems with cars that have a large range of specs and trim levels. But something as obvious as a Clio V6 should be fine!
carfiend
Confused used to say my rallye was an xsi... no even the same bloody year! Either way confused is crap. If you want good insurance on anything marginally fun then your best bet are to talk to hot hatch/performance car specilists and join a club. Most will have discount schemes and the fact you are passiontate enough about your car to join its assocsiated club will give you money off as well
cerbera
I found confused.com pretty useless too and it kept crashing on me. I've found elephant to be the best for the last couple of cars I've had - ZM Coupe, Bora Tdi and now Audi S3. Clio V6 ? Lovely.........
