Best bet is to use "www.confused.com" which will find the best quote for you.I guarantee they get you a cheaper quote.

Caution here with confused.com.

I just tried them, and their system decided, on input of my car registration, to downgrade the spec of my car from a Sport to a ST. Makes the quote cheaper but in need of a claim, your car isn't insured!

So I went back in and input the exact details of my car, and the quote comes out for a Highline!!!!!

Something stinks.

Take my advice, send "insurance jon" a pm and see what he can do.

It can't hurt, and he knows what he's talking about.

Confused used to say my rallye was an xsi... no even the same bloody year!

Either way confused is crap. If you want good insurance on anything marginally fun then your best bet are to talk to hot hatch/performance car specilists and join a club. Most will have discount schemes and the fact you are passiontate enough about your car to join its assocsiated club will give you money off as well
