FiftyPence
After just watching the South Park episode when Kenny gets a Sony PSP i have just ordered my PSP from Clarkes as it seems Boysstuff.co.uk dont have it listed anymore. I chose 2 games: Midnight Club 3 Dub Edition ATV Off Rosd I cant wait to get them, now ill have something to do at lunch at work instead of just surfing the net. DaddyDub
Im so tempted buy the Jap ones on eBay (as the US ones have cr@py screens apparently - Jap ones are made by Sharp(?)). Im gonna have to get one.
akira
Goto liksang.com they have them starting at about £130, that's where i got mine from, even if you do get stung by duty it's still gonna be cheaper than the UK retail price. Another benefit is that they are also the same region for the films.
DaddyDub
Cool thanks but I have just seen 3 auctions, all with 10 PSP's on each one, finish @ £95.00, £100.99 and £96.00 all with £28 delivery. Im doing the Math's and that sounds damn good deal to me!
Sparky
Guys, customs are really cracking down on these now. 10 have been stopped at work so far.
a4tdi130
£100+£28 * 1.175 = £150.40. Considering they are expected to be more than this when they are launched in the UK, that's still a good price!
Sparky
£30 for genuine UK one with somewhere to take it back when it's fecked. No brainer.
FiftyPence
you reckon they will only cost £30?? even still, ive never had any problems with any consoles i have bought in the past and even if they did feck up after a few years or whatever ill probably say fair play and buy a new one rather than bother sorting out the issue under warranty
FiftyPence
oh and ill probably have it by this weekend because the site i got it from who are based in the uk say allow 7 days for delivery
Sparky
Sorry, I meant £30 more than an import model, but it's piece of mind if you ask me. I've never had problems with consoles either, but this is Sony's first hand-held so who knows....

bazza_g
my bro just called me from Canada asking if I wanted him to bring back a PSP - apparently Canada got the UK's first allocation ?? had to decline his offer - got some expenses coming up
Sparky
USA got the UK's first allocation as it was supposed to be out here in March. But they wanted to ensure all of the USA had units so moved ours back to the 1st of September.

FiftyPence
FS ive waited 7 days, now im getting impatient Come on PSP, itll be out in the UK by the time it arrives
a4tdi130
The wait is what makes it so much better when you get it. But it's easy for me to say that because mine is sitting on my desk next to me, infact I think I'll do a few laps on Ridge Racer
FiftyPence
it seems you got yours from Clarkes too XC, did it arrive within 7 days or >? Youre totally right, the waiting is the exciting time and when it arrives its just a matter of time before it finds a place in a drawer.
