sayerbloke
I`m looking to get a PDA that does Sat Nav. It`s the only reason I want it really, just handy to have when travelling somewhere I haven`t been to before. Requirements would be portable [so I can easily put it in any vehicle I choose; mine, work's van, rental car, etc] and updatable with maps for anywhere in the world if required [well, UK, Europe and North America, anyway ]. A guy at work has a PDA that meets those requirements, but just wondering if anyone here can recommend the most cost effective way of achieving it, please? sayerbloke
Well, after doing some reading yesterday and then wandering around Maplins, Halfords, etc, this morning I went and bought myself a Medion MDPNA 100. Pocket PC w/ integrated GPS Sorry if the link doesn't work too well, it pops up as a frame on their website. It`s the first item on the list under "mainstream products" in theory. Had a quick play and seems to do everything I need, so I`ll post a full review after using it [extensively, no doubt!] next weekend
