Wing mirrors not folding in?

Okay, VW are know for doing this. For example, even if your car doesn't have fog lights if you stick your hand up there you will find the loom. It's just not worth while taking it off. All you have to do then is buy the switch, OEM lamps and check the fuse spec. I should think the same applies to folding mirrors. Buy the mirrors with motors fitted and Bob's your aunties lover.

All this is straight from a Stealers mouth, I have no hard proof. wink.gif

True,

But its best to look first. People say mine has a loom for cruise control, but i cant find it.

The dealers says my model/ year never had it fitted. One before did and the one after did.... but not mine frown.gif

Mine has the switch for folding mirrors, but no motors in the mirrors. I played ages with the switch trying to make the mirrors move smile.gif

I had the same issue as did a friend. We both have the option on the mirror control button, and I was killing myself for weeks and looking through the manual.

Spoke to my local dealer who told me its an extra that wasnt fitted on that model. VW fit it as standard.

Anyway, I think my previous owner had the door changed after an accident.
