activa Posted July 6, 2005 Report Share Posted July 6, 2005 Welcome to TSN! The obvious is an induction kit,de-cat pipe and aftermarket exhaust system,that'll probably take care of your 1000 euros. If,and it's a big if,they do an ECU chip for it then that'll take most of your budget and won't really see much gain anyway. neo283 Posted September 21, 2005 Report Share Posted September 21, 2005 To be honest, you're not going to squeeze much more from a 1.6 non turbo. Chip/ECU upgrades tend to rely on changing the boost settings on turbos, and as such generally do not offer much of a power increase for non turbos. The best you could expect would be 10% ish extra BHP, taking you to a fairly respectable 125. Like the other guys say, this would eat your 1000 euros. You could go for an exhaust & induction kit, which would perhaps squeeze 7% tops, and perhaps leave you with some change. Good luck! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

kserafeim Posted September 23, 2005 Author Report Share Posted September 23, 2005 i believe that i put exhaust and some filter in the engine but all these i get mostly 2-3 hp nothing special.And the price will be round 500 euro cause i ll put only final exhaust not from the start of engine.which is the best for exhaust does anyone know....does anyone have idea for this site...for this exhaust http://www.zender.de/audi_a3_a38p_tuning_english.html i am wondering if audi company has an extra kit for this pure engine 1.6 fsi ?
