BMW 645Ci - Cup Holders

Would you believe it....there isn't a single one.

However, would you like one?

Well you can have one in the back if you may. It fits into the rear centre storage compartment and looks very good indeed, although you do of course lose the storage space.

On the other hand, you could opt for the cheapest and worst looking second thought cup holder in the world. Please don't though. BMW admit they forgot this. Yes, they admit it.

So if you ask for a front cup holder they DRILL a hole in the centre console to the left of the gearstick. They then cover it with a chrome trim. In this chrome trim is a hole.

You insert the 'prong' of the plastic chrome trimmed cup holder into this hole when you want to use it - and it sticks out like a sore thumb.

I'm not a cup holder person, fortunately, but someone else might be - so whatever you do, do NOT buy the front cup holder option! You'll be horrified when you see it - and that is according to the salesman!

The S60 has a bottle holder in the back behind the arm rest. You fold out this gizmo and there you have it, somewhere to put the bottle to fill up the cup you have in the fecking cup holder. The point is, the more style a car has the less likely you are to find something as dull as a cup holder. $hit, not looking good for me then. grin.gif
