I just can't understand how we can have the same build week and yet your's is still in Germany 3 weeks after I've picked mine up???? [/ QUOTE ] thanks mate, but it is a big horrible mess, add to that a terribly tragedy, and it makes for quite a deppressing situation. 3 weeks on, i'm none the wiser, no car and getting more and more angry. My wife is now very which makes it doubly hard! My only lifeline (Stu) is now tragically gone. I'm gonna give it a couple more days and see what happens. I don't know what I would do in your case. I know I would be bloody furious and being polite would be starting to fall by the wayside. Buying a car should be a happy experiance. Am sure it will all be great when it arrives however it seems this date doesn't seem to be getting closer. Hope it all sorts itself out either way mate. I'm also used to RWD (last two cars) so even though the GTI has more power FWD should be easier to drive in bad weather. This time tomorrow I'll be in it !
