Goign to be taking it easy I think! So long as you get a GTI in the end, I don't suppose it matters, but I'd certainly try and hold out a bit longer and try and get 'your' one. I'll just take a slightly longer route home, and blame bad traffic. well, would just like to say a huge thank you to all TSN members for getting me through 14 or so weeks of waiting. Can't actually believe tomorrow is the day!!!! rest assured I'll be nice and careful with her! I could not have survived without your support! OK, now Ive follow my TSN friends advice and drove it home, over 600 miles on her now....and she's brilliant. DSG is everything I'd hoped for, build qual is fab (I think the interior is better than my BMW). Ive got the day off tomorrow so I'm gonna take her for some more spirited driving as long as the weather is OK. Im really tempted to order through them - they offer such huge savings! and shorter delivery times. The only disadvantage I can see is that you loose a years warrenty, which doesnt bother me... [/ QUOTE ] I didn't buy from Select but there's some good advice on the 13 pages of this thread , then I suppose its up to you in the end. Definitely some big savings to be had it seems. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending them, there were no hidden charges, the service was excellent throughout and the car was ready 7 weeks early into the bargain.
