Drillslinger
OK folks, what would be the pros/cons to either of these plugs?? I HAD IK20's in my std A3TQ, but I'm getting the Oettinger treatment, and keep seeing the IK22's recommended from US tuners like Neuspeed and ABDRacing. So would I really tell a difference? Would my ENGINE tell the difference? Thanks,

NikoS3
Hi Drill, i think you will be able to use the IK22's & it would probably be better once you chip the car. I have been using IK22's in my Oettinger S3 for quite some time now. The diference between IK20's and 22's is that the second one is "colder" & used for higher output engines. I would suggest e-mailing Denso & asking what they reccomend for your spedific engine. For the S3-TT 210-225 engine they reccomend IK22's, especially when tuned. Nikos. Drillslinger
Thanks Dude, I know IK 20's will work, but was unsure of the 22's. I've looked, and the 22's seem to be the recommended plug for the 180hp series of 1.8T (Mine's 150) So once she's chipped, I figure the 22's will actually be better.
