Punjabi-A4 Posted December 19, 2002 Report Share Posted December 19, 2002 Just drove up to my cousins bodyshop this afternoon/evening and thought hey why not get a good coat of wax on my car!. Got the car outside, powerwashed it down..washed it then dried it with blade and autoglym chamois...took it inside and used air compressor to flush out water in all nooks and crannies. Proceeded to apply some 3M Hand Glaze Polish/Cleaner. However you shouldn't let this stuff dry for too long as it becomes hard to shift..however i only realised when i had done half the car! a employee told me to wipe it soon after applying it with a microfibre cloth (bloody excellent). Anyway done the whole car...then proceeded to wax whole body and rims and buff with microfibre cloth. Vacuum inside...and clean interior..wiped down leather. Used thinner on windscreen then cleaned all windows. Applyed Rain x to front windscreen front driver and pass. side windows and rear screen aswell as lights. Used metal polish on Exhaust tips and badges. Left @ 10.30pm. I know Mr. Miyagi said wax on wax off but now my arms look like Popeyes!! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
