Tomk Posted January 5, 2006 Report Share Posted January 5, 2006 right we currently use webex with our customers to control there pc 's but have spotted this https://www.netsupport247.com/ which seems cheaper , what do people use to remote connect pcs ? we cant install anything on customers pc's so it has to be web based. aal234 Posted January 5, 2006 Report Share Posted January 5, 2006 If you can't install anything on the users PC then I think you are stuck with an RDP client of some sort? Or a paid for solution like the one you mention. We use remote desktop (good quite fast), symantec pc anywhere (not so good petty slow) and VNC (pretty good slower than remote desktop) Both pc anywhere and VNC need a client installing on the remote machine I think. Also you can change the port RDP uses to one that is not blocked.
