mikemod
[ image ]http://www.tyresmoke.net/attachments/702638-DSCN3391.JPG[/image] Copy the above line and remove the spaces from either side of the word image at the start and it should appear in your post. stevie_d
Damn, I never considered the shadow blue as I thought it would look crap...yet again it looks like I was wrong!!!
jonathansargent
In many ways I think I was lucky. I am getting mine through Motor Depot and originally was up for a red one - but then they phoned - very sorry red has gone!!! Wife much relieved as she doesn't like red. And in truth I always feel that the only red cars are the F-word ones! So I was offered black (tempting...) silver (which I find boring) or shadow blue - at same price - even though its metallic... So I took a gamble - and from what I have seen from the pix - I think it looks gorg!! Mine clearly needs a good polish - which she'll get.... nutkins
I think the Golf GTI can pull off red, along with the obvious Ferrari's and Ducatti's. I had a red on order but changed my mind as I thought it was just a bit too eyecatching, and in East London where I live that's not necassarily a good thing! Went for Grey as I think it sets off the red strip at the front (lost on Red cars) and also the Black grills (lost on Black cars) and is also quite classy looking. That blue is very nice though. jonathansargent
Very much agree with you Nutkins - the grey is drop-dead and the red ain't at all bad (just that I have this thing fro Ferraris!!!) Trouble is I am driving a grey Celica at the mo - and wanted a change anyway. I do agree that the grey, blue and black all set off the red grill strip, I think the black grills may be slightly lost on my shadow blue... certainly in the winter when there is less light and the car will be dirtier.. Rayza
Agree and I think it looks good in all the colours. i have not seen a colour which i think it looks poor in, even in white it looks awesome if you are brave enough and that can not be said of many other cars. Obviously I prefer some colours to others.
nutkins
True - I faffed about for ages before finally deciding on a colour, and after realising my new favorite was always the one I had seen last (in the flesh I mean)
Rayza
Yeah it makes such a difference seeing it in the flesh. What I need is a button that changes my cars colour whenever I wish, lol. Maybe in 20 years time hey.
jonathansargent
There's a Ford ASBO (aka ST Focus) near me - bright red with huge white stripe down the thing. UGLY - and attractive to Chavs methinks!!! I guess older hooligans like me like their quick cars subtle (and fast!) hence for me the blue was a natural... Rayza
Yeah funny you say that one of the reasons I went for black were for its stealth looks. But I still get so many looks and people telling me 'nice car/motor mate'. Oh well cant say I mind a little attention.
