bulb
My mate has a 51 plate A3 1.6. Had a problem with the battery recently and had to jump start it on a number of occasions. A new battery sorted the problem. However, the speedo, rev counter and computer have all stopped working since. It was an intimitant problem to start with as it would startto work after a few mile, but now its stopped all together. Any ideas?

bulb
no extended warranty i'm afraid. Sounds like it could be expensive.
colly
Could be a fuse , A bit wierd how the lot has gone instead of just say the speed. Don't know if this will help but if you do need a new dash may be worth trying Audi breakers
bulb
cheers for the link. I think if it was a fuse, it wouldn't have started as an intimitant problem though.
Gren
Wife's golf had this and it turned out to be the dealers hadn't re-connected it when doing some under-bonnet work. Not sure why it was unconnected in the first place.
Darkside
Aside from the problem of not knowing how fast I was going through speed cameras, the idea of my mile-ometer not working with the amount of miles i do sounds quite appealing. Hope this problem is contageous to Audi A4's
