Bowjanglez
I have recently got a Snooper S4 Neo from Santa. I have downloaded the database etc and installed as per the instructions but now after 4 or so journeys of 20mins they unit is still "Searching for sat....." Anyone had the same experience and offer some advice on what I am doing wrong?!?! cheers.
bazza_g
mine S4 NEO (purchased from CostCo) did exactly the same and the conclusion was that it was knackered. Give Performance Products a shout on 0870 787 0700, speak to their tech department and explain the prob. They'll ask you to send it back and usually send a replacement out by return They were excellent when I dealt with them - they actually sent me back a S4 EVO when I sent in my S4 NEO ! Soapsuds
yes, i had the same issue with my S4 NEO, only after about 2 months!!! Just stopped working. They replaced with an S4 EVO whilst i waited in their lounge area and drank coffee and chatted up the bird on reception!!! Thing is, my S4 EVO has done this once on me now - no sat after 3 hours - its now perfect. As soon as it does it again, its going back an i am demanding free updates or something.... BTW - they are a very easy company to deal with.

Bowjanglez
Cheers Bazza and Avant! Have spoken to them now and they have suggested a couple of checks etc, is it a heat reflective windscreen etc?, and if they come back as ok then it might be the unit and they will swop it over for a new one for me no probs!! thanks for the help! whimsical_chris
Give the plug a wiggle ! better still unplug it and power it up and then insert the sat sensor plug.

stevebower
Hi Bowjanglez. I too had the same problem. Replacement unit didn't fix it, so was refunded & am now very happy with Origin b2. Much neater jobby too. Good luck. Steve
mb
Is it possible to test it out of the car (depending on lead length) that should quickly prove if defective or not ?
