Biffa
Just a quick reccomendation. Just had to change all of mine on the Allroad, only can get two types of tyre for it officially, its 225 55 17W's so either Pirelli P6 Allroad, or Goodyear Wrangler F1. The Pirelli is what comes on them in the UK and the Goodyear is what comes on them in the US. The Goodyears are better in the wet and last about twice as long as the P6's so thats what I have gone for. Unfortunately being 4x4 plus I was changing all 4 to another brand meant getting 4 new tyres. Three were on the limit anyway (two rears were just gone over). Shopped around locally and managed to get prices for 4 ranging from £700 (National Tyres) to £423 (Merrow) that was including VAT and fitted. When I told the National Tyres manager I had quotes of under £500 for the tyres, he somehow managed to find a £238 discount to bring it in at £490. I walked out at that point. Just thinking about how much they would normally rip people off put me off dealing with him. I tried online places (blacktyres.com) etc. But no-one could beat the fitted price of my local chap. He even honoured the price almost two weeks after he had quoted me and the tyres had gone up £4 each in that time. So a big to Merrow Tyres. They don't know I have done this but I reckon people here deserve to know if you are in this area.
