Tarmac_Terrorist
I've narrowed my choice of upgrade bulds to the two above but can't decide. I believe the Osrams give the best light (Auto Express Test) but Phillips give best Xenon 'look' effect. Do the Phillips look too blue when illuminted? - I like the Xenon effect but don't want to 'over Barry the motor'! I've also noticed many Renault Lagunas have really white lights and theyre not HID Xenons...are these Osrams fited as standard spec?
thefast1
I have the philips ones on my A4 and as they have the projector lenses they do look a lot more blue than normal but don't look like the cheapos.
Avus_Bub
I have the SilverStars (H7) in the main beams of the A4 - Pretty bright they are too. I've got Philips Vision Plus (H7 too) in my bike and they look very white. I'd say avoid the Blue Visions - you lose light because of the blue tint. Paul
I like the Blue Visions. Loosing light isnt much of an issue unless you climb much above the 4000K colour range. Blue vision sidelights are the brightest and whitest sidelight (halogen bulbs ive found to match my xenons, without going to led.

I swapped from the Blue Visions to the Silver Stars and find them much better. Although it's fair to say, they're still not fantastic. They don't feel like they're giving out 50% more light, at least not in real world driving. Pick up my new A4 next week with standard fit Xenon's; much more like it! Tarmac_Terrorist
Mmmm, I need 4 bulbs anyway (seperate full beam units)so maybe I should try both makes. I think I'm leaning towards the Philips bluevision though. Thanks for your help folks....any one else any thoughts??
