a4alan
Hi guys, please help, I would like to connect my Rapsody multi media portable player into nav plus h/u. I have the pinouts for the nav plus end (found on previous post), i also have the 10pin plug which fits the nav+ (taken from A sega megadrive input cable..perfect fit). Here`s the problem, the outputs on the rapsody are either s-video, composite or component (worded Pr/Cr-Pb/Cb-Y)... What conections do i make on the component outputs to go into the nav plus R G B and Csync.. I have tried a dietz convertor but i`m getting a bad picture break up using the composite connection, tried filters, still no good.. Is there a low cost component to R G B + Csync convertor available...thankyou, regards..

craigyb
Buy a cheap "B" tuner off ebay with a cable, also an aux input lead. Shouldn't cost more than about £100 for the lot.

craigyb
Well you have a Dietz, so what else is there? I have never experienced any break up with TV tuners or Dietz, I suspect you are doing something wrong.
a4alan
I was running a dvd player prior to the rapsody and the pic`s were fine, then i bought the rapsody fitted it and it was great for a month, then pic`s started to breakup, thanks for your thoughts tho, all i was wondering was is there a small interface to convert component to rgb for a direct connection to the nav+ which as said before i can wire in Maybe i`ll check how well the blue plug is fitting into the pin holes (as you know it`s a tight fit behind there when h/u is pushed back..regards
