Air filter recommendations...?

iirc there was a mixed responce. Some people said the OEM filters were actually of a good quality and in one instance the after market air filter reduced performance.

Others will have more specific details on air filters, or you could do a search as there are several threads regarding this topic.

From what I've been told, and confirmed by above, you won't see any seat of your pants performance increase. You may get a few more horsies on the dyno run, especially if linked to a remap and free-er flowing exhaust. However, imho, the cost is not worth the performance increase. Plus induction kits tend to be fairly noisy, although Carbonio are top quality!

As regards to just a new filter, keep the same one in mate, but just clean her regular smile.gif

yeah I find those inductions kit are quite noisey and that is not what Im after. I read in a couple of the R32 threads aboout drilling holes in the bottom of the air box and fitting a K&N panel filter - I have done this before with good results!
