markcop
Got to say the exhausts are very poor quality. In 2 weeks of snow my tailpipes went from shiney to cruddy and are now pockmarked. I asked dealer to look at under warranty and they refered it to VW warrant dept back in Feb at Milton Keynes who said they had not heard of problem but if it became common occurence they would reconsider replacements under warranty. Suggest phone call to 0800 711811 to check.
Cleybrooke
Just had a call from VW Tamworth and they are going to replace my tail pipes under warrenty!!!! I cleaned evry other week and used polich on them and they still came up pitted after 12 months - mentioned when it when in for some other stuff (see other post) and they are going to give me some ncie new shiny ones! So may be there is a quaility problem out there after all?
RedRobin
Hopefully the replacement ones won't deteriorate to the same extent after the next 12 months.
mikemod
Looks like it may have been a bad batch, hopefully the next ones will be fine. These are mine after 13 months and 14500 miles
