RobA3
Hi guys I need some advice I currently have a 2001 1.8T A3 with the original 16'' wheels. My first question is will 17'' wheels fit with no problems with clearance. secondly I do not anticipate changing the car for at least another year and half, when I will probably buy the current version of the 2.0FSI Sport A3, does that vechile have the same wheel fitment as my current model. Cupramax
17's will fit fine as long as you get the correct offset ET35 I think...and no the new A3 has different PCD so the only way they will fit is if you get dual drilled wheels with 5x100 & 112 PCD. Paul
P.C.D. stands for pitch circle diameter, and indicates the diameter of the circle in mm connecting the center of each hub bolt your A3 will be 5(bolts) x 100 (mm) New A3 is 5 x 112 hence wont fit.
