shark_90
I am currently sourcing parts for a nav install. I've managed to get a TV tuner, but apparently I will need to buy my own diversity antenna. Where do I get one, what do I need, and how much is it going to be? Did a search on ebay that bought up a few things, but they look more like the sort of thing that should be stuck to the side of a caravan
craigyb
Diversity system come up very rarely on ebay. And you car doesn't use the diversity system anyway that the old cars used. What you need is the "Kompensor" 8E5 035 225 (letter). You may be looking at dealer prices for the replacement parts. What year is your B6? The best thing to do is look what you have now based on your reg or VIN, or even look at the "Kompensor" in the rear window by dropping the trim. If you give me that we can work out what you need to chnage to TV. Then you will need 4 cables to run from that to the Tuner. Craig
shark_90
It's a 2001. The chap I've bought the tuner from suggested it should be a £40 from flea-bay. Cheers for the quick reply!
